Are you an experienced Civil Engineer ready to take the lead on complex heavy industrial projects while still staying closely involved in engineering and design?
We are recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer in Denver, CO. This is a lead-level opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience. Candidates with 15+ years of experience are especially encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead civil engineering projects from concept through completion
Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and designers
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resources
Lead site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
Direct preparation and review of drawings, specifications, calculations, and project documentation
Coordinate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors
Serve as the responsible/in-charge engineering professional for assigned work
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, technical standards, and quality requirements
Identify and manage scope changes and their schedule/budget impacts
Technical Experience We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
Active PE license required
10+ years of civil engineering experience; 15+ years preferred
Heavy industrial project experience in one or more of the following:
Metals & Minerals / Mining
Oil & Gas
Renewable Energy
Utilities
Site grading and site development
Drainage and stormwater design
Utility planning and design
Civil design calculations and construction documentation
AutoCAD
Civil 3D
Bentley engineering/design products, including experience with tools such as InRoads and StormCAD
Knowledge of applicable civil engineering codes and regulatory requirements
Experience leading engineers/designers and coordinating multidisciplinary projects
Project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and scope/change management
