What You Will Do

You will support high-impact initiatives for the Food and Drug Administration, leading complex projects that improve financial, acquisition, mission, and operational performance across the enterprise. This role requires direct engagement with executive leadership, ownership of delivery execution, and strong command of project management discipline.

You Will

Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on budgetary, operational, organizational, and process improvement initiativesBuild and maintain strong working relationships with FDA leadership, program offices, and external stakeholdersLead and manage high-visibility projects supporting FDA priorities, including budget, acquisition, and business transformation initiativesFacilitate executive meetings, working groups, and leadership briefingsTranslate complex data and technical information into actionable insights for leadership audiencesOwn deliverable quality by identifying, correcting, and preventing errors, and holding the team accountable for producing accurate, client-ready workDevelop clear, concise executive briefings, presentations, and decision materials tailored for senior leadersManage weekly staffing allocations across multiple workstreams, aligning resources to priorities and contract deliverablesValidate work performed by team members meets weekly and bi-weekly objectives, quality standards, and client expectationsProvide hands-on project management oversight, including planning, execution, risk management, and performance trackingSupport IT-enabled initiatives and modernization efforts, translating business needs into actionable plansApply business graphic design principles to produce high-quality, visually compelling deliverablesMentor and oversee junior staff, reinforcing accountability, quality, and consistency in deliverySupport workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and professional development effortsFoster a collaborative, customer-focused environment that promotes accountability and continuous improvement

Role

Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation, analytics, dashboards, and business process re-design. In addition to client delivery, you will play a key leadership role within the account by:

Developing and mentoring junior team members, building core consulting, communication, and delivery skillsIdentifying, shaping, and capturing new business opportunities across the FDA, contributing to growth exceeding $2M annuallyDriving internal initiatives such as Project Management Office (PMO) development, culture-building activities, Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, Lunch and Learns, and All-Hands meetingsCreating and maturing new capabilities that expand service offerings and strengthen account deliveryAuthoring internal policies, procedures, and processes to improve quality, consistency, and scalabilityServing as a day-to-day guide for junior staff, reinforcing strong consulting practices and high-quality client service deliveryCollaborating closely with account Directors and Partner leadership to align on priorities, performance, and growth

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degreeProject Management Professional (PMP) certification 5+ years of professional experience supporting federal clients, with demonstrated success in project management and delivery executionProven experience working directly with executive leadershipDemonstrated experience developing executive-level communications, including briefings, presentations, and decision materialsExperience managing multiple project teams, including assigning work, tracking progress, and validating deliverables against defined timelinesExperience managing staffing allocations across several workstreams on a weekly basisStrong project management background, including planning, execution, and performance trackingExperience supporting or delivering IT-related projects or business system implementationsStrong business graphic design and presentation development skills, including advanced use of PowerPointExperience with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) to support analysis and decision-makingAbility to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with leadership prioritiesExperience capturing stakeholder requirements, conducting process analysis, and developing actionable solutionsAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US citizenship is required)This role requires three (3) days on-site each week at the FDA White Oak Campus in White Oak, Maryland.
