Your day-to-day responsibilities Reporting & Analysis Support the preparation of financial reports and management dashboards, ensuring data is accurate and clearly presented. Assist in variance analysis, helping identify and explain drivers behind deviations from plan. Business Cases & Investment Support Support the development of business cases for capital expenditure, new programmes, and technology investments, under the guidance of senior FP&A team members. Build and maintain financial models, gather assumptions, and run sensitivity analysis to support investment recommendations. Analyse M&A opportunities and support negotiation and implementation planning, including target screening, financial due diligence support, and post-deal integration tracking. Strategic & Ad Hoc Analysis Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to inform business decisions. Identify and analyse key operational and financial value drivers across the business. Provide ad hoc financial analysis in support of executive and cross-functional requests. Process & Tooling Support Support the rollout and adoption of planning and BI tools, helping reduce manual, spreadsheet-based work. Contribute to the maintenance of FP&A templates, documentation, and process standards. Project & Stakeholder Support Support cross-functional finance projects from scoping through to delivery, coordinating with colleagues across Finance and the wider business. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders outside Finance, learning to influence without formal authority. What we’re looking for Must haves: 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or investment-facing roles. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; exposure to BI or planning tools is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Progress toward an accounting or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) is a plus but not required. Nice to haves: Analytical Rigour — comfortable working with complex data sets, spotting patterns, and drawing sound conclusions. Clear Communication — able to present analysis and findings in a way that is easy to understand for non-finance stakeholders.
