Axle is seeking a Biological Scientist to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) located in Bethesda, MD.

Position Information:

To provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.

Additional Qualifications:

Certifications & Licenses

• Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related discipline.

• Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Master's degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Molecular Biology, Immunocytochemistry or a related field.

Skills

• Demonstrates knowledge of maintaining accurate and detailed records

• Demonstrates knowledge of proper laboratory disposal methods and safety procedures

• Demonstrates experience working in a laboratory environment

• Demonstrated experience in performing surgical procedures with small animals

Deliverables:

• Work products and documents related to maintaining accurate, daily records of experiments and results in pen in bound laboratory notebooks. - Ad-Hoc

• Work products and documents related to performing a wide variety of complex procedures and techniques. - Ad-Hoc

• Work products and documents related to interpreting, evaluating and discussing the results of each experiment with principle
